Welcome to the fifth Lollaboard Create-a-Festival contest where participants conceive and design their own festivals (including a line-up, poster, and set-times) which will face each other in a series of polls to determine a winner.
Note: The Schedule below is tentative and subject to change at the moderator's discretion.
First please use firstname.lastname@example.org when submitting things for this contest. You can also email any question you might have to this address, post about them in the Create-a-Festival thread or pm them to the moderator.
Sign-ups open on March 19 and will close on March 31. To sign up, you will email your board username, the name of your festival, your festival's dates, location and general size (small, medium, or large) to the moderator. All of this info is needed for you to official sign-up.
Once sign-ups close, and you receive an email from the moderator approving your festival, you are allowed to submit a list of your desired reunion bands, headliners, subheadliners & comedy headliners. These lists are due by 10pm Eastern time on April 6.
If there is a need for any bidding wars over acts, the moderator will email you and they will be conducted using the Bidding Forum on this board.
Once you have received an email from the moderator telling you either you don't have any bidding wars or you conclude whatever bidding wars you do, you are allowed to submit a list of undercard bands and comedy/theater/literature acts you want for your festival. These lists are due by 10pm on April 20.
Once all the band stuff has been settled, the moderator will email everyone a cost sheet. you will fill out the cost sheet to determine the final cost of your festival & decide your festival's ticket price. The cost sheets are due by 10pm on May 4.
Once the moderator has approved your cost sheet, you are allowed to submit a poster and schedule for your festival. Your poster must include your festival's name, dates, location & lineup. Your festival poster and schedule are due by 10pm on May 18.
The first round of polls will go up on May 21.
